The wooden school in Valeggio sul Mincio, Verona, designed in partnership by Fornale Engineering is one of the first 10 green schools selected on the Corriere.it website
Among the selected schools are both examples of new green constructions with near-zero impact and energy retrofit projects.
The school we designed has a load-bearing structure in CLT timber to limit environmental impact and the building’s Life Cycle Assessment, mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery units, and a heat pump system with geothermal probes.
We are proud to contribute our expertise to creating smart, cutting-edge buildings, especially when they are intended to host and educate the young people of the future.
