It is now only a matter of days: the concrete basement has been completed and the material for the construction of the CLT apartment building is on its way.
Fornale Engineering timber engineering firm handled the executive design of the structures for this 3-story CLT timber apartment building, with floor plans ranging from 400 m² to 520 m² depending on the presence of terraces.
The construction is set at 3 different heights to better follow the terrain slope.
The intermediate floors will be constructed in 186 mm CLT timber, 5 layers, and steel beams have been incorporated where spans became significant.
There are two stairwell/elevator shafts that will be constructed with full-height CLT panels.
Fornale Engineering developed the CAD/CAM drawings necessary for panel production and prepared the assembly plan for the residential complex.
Cutting lists for the timber roofs as well as the hardware list were provided to the contractor.
