Project description
Fornale Engineering handled the structural design of this new XLAM timber villa in the province of Padua.
This building has a floor plan of approximately 200 square meters and is developed over 2 floors. The ground floor features a large external porch.
XLAM timber structures
The building was designed with earthquake-resistant vertical walls in XLAM timber with a thickness of 120mm.
The floor and roof slabs are made of laminated timber with an overlaid OSB3 bracing board.
Steel columns and beams are provided externally and locally internally.
