BUILDING DESCRIPTION
Studifornale.it handled the structural design of a private CLT timber villa built in the province of Padua.
The building has a floor plan of approximately 220 m² and is developed on one level.
An attic space for building services is present, constructed with prefabricated modular elements in glulam/OSB.
STRUCTURAL SCHEME
The building was designed with vertical CLT timber walls with a thickness of 120 mm in 5 layers.
The floor slab is of the dual-pitch type and is constructed with glulam framing and upper bracing boards.
Glulam beams with a 10×16 cm section and glulam GL24h ridge beams with a 20×36 cm section were used.

- reinforced concrete foundation works;
- glulam and CLT timber works.
