The Civil Protection Department recently announced that:
Citizens in earthquake-affected areas have until January 16 to request a habitability inspection for their homes or businesses.
The request must be submitted to the Municipality or the COC (municipal operations center) using the Ipp Form – inspection request for public/private buildings/structures.
As of December 28, 2016, a new procedure is in effect compared to previous months: for citizens who have never received inspections, the first inspection carried out by technical teams appointed by Dicomac will be of the Fast type, i.e., an expedited assessment.
Following this inspection, if the building is deemed “usable,” citizens may return home; if the outcome is “not usable,” it is necessary to request from a professional the assessment with an Aedes form accompanied by a sworn expert report.
This second assessment will determine the type of uninhabitability and thus allow the citizen to request the contribution for the repair, restoration, or reconstruction of their home.
If you need experienced technicians for completing AEDES forms, contact us; we have direct experience in completing them following both the 2009 L’Aquila earthquake and the 2012 Emilia earthquake.
Buildings in Amatrice, Accumoli, and Arquata are exempt from this new procedure; to complete the assessments begun after the August 24 shock, the inspection with Aedes is carried out directly.

If you are looking for competent technicians with previous experience in obtaining funds for seismic reconstruction, please contact us; we have already obtained them for several projects following the 2012 Emilia earthquake (this is one of the projects for which we obtained funding).
We are at your disposal to guide you until you obtain the funds!!
