Fornale Engineering has been commissioned for the structural design of a new middle school in the province of Turin.
The project spans 3 floors with a total floor area of approximately 3,300 m².
We will handle the executive design of the foundation works and the timber elevation and floor structures.
This is a structure with load-bearing CLT timber walls of varying thickness with glulam timber floors and an overlying CLT stiffening panel.
The building will be fire-resistant to R60 and in consequence class C2b.
