It was an opportunity to share design insights gained from years of experience and recent projects related to the PNRR.
The design of timber school buildings reveals several commonalities, regardless of the specific architectural plans.
We discussed fire resistance, passive protection concepts, and issues related to different charring rates depending on the various CLT panels used.
The optimization of ribbed or box-type CLT floor systems was another focus of our analysis, with specific reference to vibration issues and interference with building systems.
It was an excellent opportunity for networking and sharing experiences, as it is every year!
