StudioFornalè was responsible for the executive structural design of the residential complex consisting of 2 units, with a total floor area of approximately 500 sqm.
The units are spread over 2 floors and are constructed with 5-layer CLT load-bearing wooden walls with a thickness of 120 mm and traditional glulam timber floors; due to architectural requirements related to wide spans, it was necessary to incorporate intermediate steel profiles.
Fornale Engineering also handled the design of the foundation works, which were realized with reinforced concrete inverted beams.
